Loads of Wolves fans showered winger Diogo Jota with praise after his performance during his side’s 3-0 win against Norwich City on Sunday.
The Portugal international, 23, was among the goals once more as he bagged another double during what was an easy afternoon for the hosts at the Molineux. Jota now has five goals in his past two games, following on from his hat-trick in midweek against Espanyol in the Europa League.
Wolves’ No. 18 showed once more why he is one of the club’s most important players. He managed to get score all of his shots on target, win five of his seven ground duels and accumulate a pass success rate of 80%, as per SofaScore. In what has been a rather good week for the Portuguese midfielder, supporters drooled over his showing and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he was “on fire”, while another stated that he is back to his “tenacious best”.
