Wolverhampton Wanderers are believed to be closing in on addressing their concerns over the number of goals their strikers have scored this season.
The Senegal international striker has been in fine form for Kasimpasa this season, having netted 12 times as well as providing a further 12 assists for his team-mates.
The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to England in the past, with a number of clubs thought to have tried to sign him just last summer.
Wolves are keen to add some goalscoring threat to the team as Raul Jimenez has struggled to finish a number of opportunities that he has had, although he does still have a record of three goals and four assists in 12 matches.
The Verdict:
Nuno Espirito Santo is thought to be keen on adding a new striker to his side this January and Diagne could be an excellent addition to the team.
The attacker did have work permit issues last summer, hence why any possible move broke down, but he has since gained himself EU citizenship, allowing him to move freely now, which would not give the Molineux outfit too much trouble.
However, it remains to be seen if Kasimpasa will entertain any offers for Diagne, as his goals have fired them up the Super Lig table into third place, just five points behind leaders Galatasaray.
