Wolverhampton Wanderers are believed to be entering the January transfer market to address their needs for a new attacker.
The Molineux outfit have started life in the Premier League extremely well and have picked up a number of impressive results as they head into the festive period.
However, there has been a concern for Nuno Espirito Santo, as there has been a real lack of firepower, with the club having scored just 12 goals in their first 12 games in the top-flight.
But, it appears the Portuguese manager has already started to identify possible targets and reports in Italy are suggesting a former Barcelona graduate is on their radar.
The Senegal international is currently on loan from AS Monaco at Inter Milan, but the Serie A side are considering to offload him in January.
The Verdict:
Although Balde could be a great signing for Wolves, the 23-year-old would come as a risk to a side that may not be able to afford to take them.
The striker, who predominately plays as a left winger, has struggled during his loan spell at Inter Milan so far this season and it remains difficult to understand how he could improve their firepower.
However, Nuno could get the best out of the player and it could turn out to be an inspired signing for the club.
