According to a piece by football writer and broadcaster Daniel Storey, Wolverhampton Wanderers are within reach of a Champions League qualification spot despite a number of disadvantages that could’ve gone against them – resulting in many supporters from all over the division ultimately praising the club.
This season, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have impressed in the league, climbing up to sixth spot whilst being level on points with English giants Manchester United. As well as this, Wolves are just three points off Chelsea in fourth – with European qualification very much a realistic goal.
According to Storey, Wanderers have got to this position despite playing the most games out of any team in England, using the fewest players and taking the most points from losing positions per game out of every side in the top flight.
