The Molineux side got off to a shaky start domestically, failing to win any of their first five league matches and suffering a heavy 2-5 home defeat to Chelsea in September which left them second from bottom in the table.
Seven matches later, though, that remains their last defeat in the Premier League, a run which began with Diogo Jota’s stoppage time equaliser salvaging a draw against Crystal Palace.
Since then, Wolves have beaten Manchester City away, drawn at Arsenal and, most recently, defeated Midlands rivals Aston Villa at Molineux, exacting revenge for a Carabao Cup loss a couple of weeks previously.
Their tally of two league defeats is bettered only by unbeaten Liverpool, while only five teams have conceded fewer than their 15 goals from the opening 12 games. [via Sky Sports]
