Many Wolves fans have been left to buzz as a transfer update emerged on Jesus Corona.
Should Wolves sign Corona?
His release clause is decreasing down from €30m (£25.9m) to a mere €20m (£17.3m) at the end of June, and the Molineux faithful can take advantage of this under new manager Bruno Lage.
Corona has come off of the back of a very good 2020/21 season, making no fewer than 16 goal contributions in total in 48 matches across all competitions (Transfermarkt), a very respectable average of a goal or an assist every three games.
The Mexico international also created as many as 15 big chances for his teammates in the Portuguese top flight, as he also won five of his duels a game and averaged 2.3 key passes and 1.8 successful dribbles per match (Sofascore).
Wolves fans on Corona transfer update
These WWFC supporters buzzed as the transfer update was shared on Twitter, with one claiming that they were ‘excited’ while another even went as far as to describe the reported release clause as a ‘bargain’:
“Get it done Jeff”
“As a Wolves fan I’m excited but as a USMNT fan it would be brutal having to cheer for another of el tri’s best players. Jimenez already makes it hard enough”
“Proper signing this adds so much utility”
“Bargain bring in tecatito”
“Can you just imagine?”
