Lots of Wolves fans have been left delighted as a transfer update emerged on Leander Dendoncker.

As per Calciomercato, the Belgium international is in the sights of AS Roma ahead of a potential move before the summer window shuts.

However, he is currently valued in the region of €25m (£21.2m), and the Serie A club are have been put off by that price tag.

Dendoncker came under some criticism from members of the Molineux faithful for some of his performances while in an Old Gold shirt in the 2020/21 season, and generally did not seem to offer much from midfield, managing to score just one goal and provide no assists in 37 games in total over all competitions (Transfermarkt).

Thus, selling him for a good price would be a wise idea by the Midlands club, as they can then reinvest that money back into the squad, with players wanted by new manager Bruno Lage.
