As Wolves came away from struggling Newcastle United with a point on Saturday, plenty of supporters slammed the performance of defender Leander Dendoncker – with the Belgian having a tough afternoon against Allan Saint-Maximin in the 1-1 draw at St. James’ Park.
Dendoncker was given a 5/10 match rating by Birmingham Live, with the outlet also pointing out he ‘didn’t cover himself in glory’ before Jamaal Lascelles opened the scoring.
The 25-year-old also struggled up against Newcastle star Saint-Maximin, with supporters quick to point out his nightmare afternoon in the centre-half position.
Despite Newcastle breaking through, Wolves did eventually manage to salvage something from their encounter with the Premier League relegation battlers as Ruben Neves scored his first ever headed goal to equalise.
Flocking to social media in reaction to Dendoncker’s display, it’s safe to say they weren’t impressed as they don’t hold back with their verdicts.
