Some Wolves fans have been left to react to a transfer update involving Ruben Vinagre.
As per A Bola, a deal for him to go to Sporting Lisbon on loan for the new 2021/22 season will close this week.
Would you let Vinagre leave?
The deal will have an option to buy for around €8-9m (£6.9-7.7m) and will also have a percentage on the next sale.
Vinagre is clearly surplus to requirements at Molineux, given that he was shipped out on loan to two different teams in the last term, and now the Midlands club are looking to send him out on loan once more.
Thus, it would be good business by WWFC to get some cash in by moving him on, which could then be used to reinvest in the squad.
However, given that he is still just 22 years of age, and so still holds a reasonable market value, the Wanderers should be looking for more money once his loan deal at Sporting expires.
Wolves fans on Vinagre transfer update
These Wolves fans gave some fairly mixed responses as the exit news was shared on Twitter:
“Talk of £15 mill now peanuts he ain’t worth that but looks like we like to sell on the cheap. The more I here on transfers I’m getting to like Fosun less”
“Could be a good move for him tbh but I hope that means we am signing Ait-Nouri on a permanent deal”
“Thought we were searching for cash down the back of the sofa, why would we consider a loan for a player while his contract runs down?”
