Wolves came away with a point from the home game against Southampton, and the performance of new signing Nelson Semedo in the 1-1 draw did not please some of the club’s supporters.
The Midlands outfit actually went 1-0 down when Theo Walcott opened the scoring. Fortunately for Nuno Espirito Santo and co, Pedro Neto netted the equaliser to earn his side a point. The draw saw Wolves move back into the top ten of the Premier League table.

From a stats point of view, it appeared the £31.5m-valued Portugal international (Transfermarkt) handled himself well. He won nine of his 13 duels, and also completed three of his five attempted duels. However, it was his ball-watching that allowed Walcott to swoop in and score for the Saints. Given that they spent €30m (£27.61m) on his services, he must do better than that.

Yes mate defo. But £37m for semedo?! I kinda gave him benefit of the doubt before tonight but that was a shocker. Take away switching off for the goal, he was terrible defending and going forward. I’d give his performance a 3 at best.
