Football fans across the world tuned in last night to watch Juventus and Barcelona do battle in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie and Liverpool followers here in the Transfer Tavern were no different.
With Jurgen Klopp’s men looking more and more likely to book a spot back at Europe’s top table as the weeks pass, Kopites are taking a greater interest in the competition and, like all others, they were wowed by Paulo Dybala’s performance in the Old Lady’s 3-0 win.
The Argentine netted Juve’s two opening goals in a Man of the Match display in Turin that will only serve to increase interest in him from all corners of the continent that even the Serie A heavyweights may find hard to resist.
Liverpool fans have remained ambitious throughout their side’s decline in recent times and it appears they have not lost that optimism with some calling for a summer move for the attacker on Twitter in the wake of the game…
