The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern have been begging their club to splash some cash and sign PSG’s exciting young midfielder, Adrien Rabiot. According to Premium Sport, via le10sport, the French club are prepared to sell the midfielder for a fee of around 50 million euros and with Tottenham a long-term admirer of Rabiot, this summer could see them land their man.
[Premium Sport] understands Paris Saint-Germain are willing to sell Tottenham Hotspur target Adrien Rabiot providing the French club can recover a fee in the region of €50M (£43.8m).

Under any normal circumstances, it would be extremely unlikely to see PSG looking to offload an incredible midfield talent like Rabiot. However, the current situation is far from normal as the French giants need to sell between 40 and 60 million euros worth of players to meet FFP regulations after they went big in the market last summer, bringing in both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe on huge fees, although technically Mbappe was on-loan with the fee coming this summer.
Either way, PSG need to offload players and with Spurs sniffing for Rabiot, this could be the perfect opportunity. The Lilywhites look increasingly likely to be selling Mousa Dembele this window and with such a talent leaving the club they’ll have to recruit to fill the gap that he’d leave. Mauricio Pochettino has spoken about needing to take risks this summer and the signing of Rabiot would be just that, a big money move that could propel the club to the next level as they prepare for their debut season in their new stadium.

Very very good player. Ideal for us I’d have thought. Young with CL experience already & still plenty of potential to improve.

The overriding opinion here from the Spurs fans in the Tavern is to sign the lad. The 23-year-old midfielder would improve the squad and the Tottenham fans are all jumping at it.
