Our Rangers fans here in the Transfer Tavern are hoping for a brighter future after they managed to get a 1-1 draw out of the derby with Celtic yesterday.
It was Graeme Murty’s last game in charge as the Gers’ boss and he’ll certainly remember it for some time as Clint Hill grabbed a late equaliser to ensure Celtic dropped points for the second time this season.
Now, then, Pedro Caixinha – Rangers’ new boss – will be looking to build on that surely as they look to overhaul their great rivals on the domestic front.
There’s certainly plenty of work to be done to achieve that, of course, with Celtic streets ahead of everyone else in Scotland but there is evidence that the men from Ibrox are ready to start reeling them in.
Indeed, Caixinha has posted via his official Twitter account that he’s ready to take on a new project and that, naturally, has led to plenty of reaction from Rangers fans.
