Sometimes you stumble across an amazing goal, the only odd thing being that it came from John Pieface playing at Leyton Orient’s B team. So for all you Sunday League fans, here’s some of the greatest goals to ever be scored in the lower echelons of the football world.
I spent a long time on youtube for this!
10. Portland Keeper
In the last 30 seconds of Portland’s college soccer game against Cheverus they find themselves 3-2 down. Step up Portland’s keeper who decides to hang about on the half way line. The keeper makes a hash of it, but still, awesome.

9. Owen Coyle – Burnley Reserves
You may have seen this, but given Coyle was about 42 when he knocked his one in, he certainly showed the skill that has inspired his teams. When Burnley’s small squad struggled for players in the reserve team, in comes then manager Coyle to show the lads how it’s done. He’s recently done it again (at 44) for Bolton too!

8. Jimmy Bullard – Hull City Reserves
Still getting back to fitness, old Jimmy flicks up his laid of free kick and smashes an astounding goal against his former employers, Wigan. Poor quality video, but certainly not a poor quality goal.

7. Jay Emmanuel-Thomas – Arsenal Reserves
This speaks for itself. The 19-year-old Doncaster Rovers loanee certainly showed what he can do here, what a piece of skill.

6. Conor Clifford – Chelsea Youth
A great Lampard-like goal scored at the most important time. This goal won the 2010 FA Youth Cup final for Chelsea, and what a goal it was.

5. Joey Gudjonssen – Leicester City
He meant it, it was amazing and he was playing in the Championship at the time. Leicester fans will never forget this half way line winner against Hull, but I’m sure your average football fan may never have come across it.

4. Steve Torpey – FC United
If he can shoot like that maybe SAF should get him to turn his colours! An immense strike against Halifax Town for Manchester’s newest league football team.

3. Dragan Stojkovic – Nagoya Grampus Manager
Yes, manager. Following a decision manager Stojkovic wasn’t quite happy with, he decides to belt the ball back into play resulting in one of the most amazing goals you’ll ever see not count. My apologies for Japan’s very own Baddiel and Skinner before the clip.

2. Artem Koncevoj – MTZ-Ripo
Never seen anything like it! Cruyff-like mastery over in the Belgian league!

1. Chris Maguire – Scotland U21
Every Sunday morning, someone, somewhere in the country is saying “Go on Shag, have a go, he’s off his line!” When it works out, it’s pretty spectacular.
