£10M Writ: Did The Baptist Church Deny Sir Alex Of Midfield Maestro?

Arquimedes Nganga is suing the Baptist Church for £10M, claiming they deprived him of a career as a professional footballer according to this month’s New Humanist magazine.

Aged 25, Nganga was earning £200 a month playing football in Portugal’s Third Division when he found faith with the Baptist Church and gave up playing.

Now 46 and living in Forest Hill in London, Nganga has decided that it was the Baptists deprived him of a living as a Premiership footballer and cites Manchester United as where he would have seen himself had not been distracted from his path to fame and glory.

Nganga said, “I could have definitely had a long career in the Premiership. I see many players playing today who I am not inferior to – and perhaps even better than. Most midfielders are either defensive or attacking and I was both, I had something new.”

Sir Alex must be positively fuming that this unique opportunity to sign Nganga wasn’t afforded to him.
