City fans here in the Tavern have been in dreamland with their first-team performances this season, but having seen how some of their youngsters have got on the future is looking even brighter. Pep Guardiola has been the mastermind behind their superb start this season, but having started in such a dominant manner he now has the opportunity to give some of the youth-products a chance.

Of course, when you start a Premier League season the way that Manchester City have, fans are going to love life. But things may be about to get even better, with some of their young talent beginning to show signs of readiness for some first-team action.

With the Citizens taking their Champions League group by storm, it left room for the last two games of the group-stage to provide an opportunity for some of their youth-stars. Having come out of their last-two matches with only 3 points this won’t worry the gaffer too much, with the main aim being valuable minutes for the youngsters.

Nevertheless, with Man City hosting some of the most promising talents in world football, here’s a look at TWO of them that may be worth big money in the future.

Phil Foden

Although he may only be 17-years-old he’s become the hottest topic on the youth scene in the whole of English football.

Having only made the 3 appearances in what has been an incredible tough side to get into with all their success, he’s managed to rise to the challenge with flying colors after putting in some impressive displays.

Indeed, after being gifted with the Golden ball during the U’17 triumph in the World Cup this year, to then winning the Young Sports Personality of the Year award, it’s been the best year in the young-lads career that’s had a positive effect on his life in Manchester.

Oluwatosin Adarabioyo

The 20-year-old central-defender is looking like becoming a special defender in the future, with some incredible performances in the light blue shirt.

Of course, with the Man City defence being inseparable so far this season, it’s provided little opportunity for the centre-back. But in the 3 games he’s featured in this season he’s managed to keep 2 clean sheets, which is not a bad return for the youngster.

He offers the City back-line a different dynamic to John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi, with his tall frame standing at 6ft2 inches he manages to use this to his advantage with a superior aerial threat and added strength.
