2 players Thomas Tuchel could bring to Arsenal if he replaces Wenger

For the Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern, they’ve had just about enough of German football in recent days, following their side’s absolute battering at the hands of Bayern Munich in the Allianz Arena.

As you can well imagine, Arsene Wenger’s position has been cast into serious doubt by our punters as a result and the idea of finally seeing the Frenchman replaced in north London is becoming very appealing indeed for some of them. Naturally, a number of top level names have been linked with the post, from all around the footballing globe.

One of the major ones has been Thomas Tuchel of Borussia Dortmund, who could be a popular choice for our drinkers. He too will be frustrated by Bayern’s dominance, of course, trailing them in the Bundesliga, despite the excellent work he’s done when picking up from Jurgen Klopp.

So, playing Devils Advocate, here’s a look at TWO players who he could bring with him.

Raphael Guerreiro

Despite only arriving in Germany this summer, the Euro 2016 champion looks every inch suited to life in the Premier League. An athletic full-back, the Portuguese could be a wonderful addition for the Gunners, with neither Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs proving overly convincing.

Top quality left-backs are hard to come by these days, so the former Lorient man could become somewhat of a priority.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

The glamour name. Having been linked with a move to Arsenal for what seems like an eternity, perhaps the idea of joining Tuchel in a potential double move could finally force the Gabonese over.

With the Gunners been crying out for a lethal central forward, the 27-year-old would surely turn them into title contenders if he’s to line up with the likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
