Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern are absolutely livid with suggestions a massive talent could leave the club on the cheap this summer.
Left-back Kieran Tierney has been arguably the story of the season up at Celtic Park, producing impressive performances both domestically and in the Champions League to earn a reputation as potentially the brightest young talent Scottish football has to offer.
Inevitably, the 19-year-old’s rise hasn’t gone unnoticed and recent reports from The Daily Mail have mooted him as a transfer target for Manchester United, with the likes of Matteo Darmian and Luke Shaw facing uncertain futures at Old Trafford.
However, Celtic fans are pretty miffed, and not just because their club could lose yet another top talent to the Premier League. Those in the Tavern and on Twitter simply can’t believe the club would sell the teenager for just £10million when he’s already demonstrated such enormous potential.
Here’s a look at some of the best responses from social media…
@PremierLeague8 £10 million is nowhere near his valuation,Celtic will rebuff any approach.
