3-4-3: Conte’s ridiculously solid Chelsea XI to all but wrap up the title away at Burnley

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are feeling very confident ahead of another Premier League clash this weekend…

With the Blues in fine form, many of the punters in the pub don’t think that they can be stopped – especially after such a dominant win over Arsenal at the weekend.

A 3-1 victory was the end result, with a stunning goal from Eden Hazard undoubtedly the pick of the bunch.

With Chelsea’s hold on the Premier League title tightening with every passing week, Antonio Conte’s side look destined to finish top at the end of the season – but the Italian cannot afford any slip-ups.

As the Premier League has proven in recent weeks, anything can happen – and Conte must ensure that his team is on the ball against his next opponent – Burnley.

The Clarets always pose a threat, and with games coming thick and fast – defeat could spell disaster for Chelsea. Antonio Conte must pick the right team and tactics to get the job done.

With that said, here is Conte’s ridiculously solid Chelsea XI to all but wrap up the title away at Burnley…

 GK – Thibaut Courtois

Thibaut Courtois continues to impress in the Premier League, and his performance against Arsenal was one of his best yet.

The Belgian is finally beginning to reach the levels that we expected.

 CB – Cesar Azpilicueta

Cesar Azpilicueta was more than comfortable against Arsenal, and Burnley shouldn’t prove to be much of an issue for him.

The Spaniard has been impressive this season.

 CB – David Luiz

David Luiz is, undoubtedly, one of the stars of the show at Chelsea.

His stunning free-kick against Liverpool was a high-point of the season so far.

 CB – Gary Cahill

Gary Cahill continues to go from strength to strength, and he is vital to this back line.

A defensive marvel.

 LWB – Marcos Alonso

Marcos Alonso scored again at the weekend, and despite suggestions that it should have been a foul – the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern were impressed.

He looks great defensively and offensively.

 DM – N’Golo Kante

N’Golo Kante was everywhere against Arsenal, proving once again why he is one of Europe’s best.

He is so important to this midfield.

 DM – Cesc Fabregas

Cesc Fabregas hasn’t had much of an opportunity to start as of late, but he definitely should against Burnley.

His offensive prowess will be vital as Chelsea look to break the Clarets down.

 RWB – Victor Moses

Victor Moses has been quiet in recent weeks, but that doesn’t mean he has been any less impressive.

He is maintaining defensive solidity in an increasingly impressive Chelsea defence.

 LW – Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard scored one of the best goals of the season at the weekend, and he is finally beginning to turn his form around.

He has struggled over the last few weeks, and he needs to start improving more regularly.

 ST – Diego Costa

Diego Cost has had a quiet few weeks, but you can expect Antonio Conte to persist with the Spaniard.

He is always a goal threat.

 RW – Willian

It is always a tough call between Pedro and Willian, and both could do a job.

Willian gets the nod this week, though, given that Pedro wasn’t a standout performer against Arsenal.
