3-4-3: The predicted Chelsea XI Conte will field to play Arsenal on Saturday

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are feeling confident ahead of their weekend clash against Arsenal…

After all, the Blues are absolutely flying in the Premier League. Even Liverpool couldn’t stop the Blues’ charge, with Chelsea looking good value for their 1-1 draw with the Merseyside-outfit.

Chelsea were under the cosh for long periods of time throughout the game, but if any side was going to win it was Antonio Conte’s men.

David Luiz’s goal was the moment of the night, and that finish would have given Antonio Conte confidence that he can trust the Brazilian going forward.

Next up for the Blues is a tough test against Arsenal, with the Gunners impressing in the Premier League so far this year.

Antonio Conte needs to ensure that his team selection is perfect against Arsene Wenger’s side, especially considering that the fact that the Blues lost in the reverse fixture.

With that said, this is the predicted Chelsea XI Conte will field to play Arsenal on Saturday…

 GK – Thibaut Courtois

Thibaut Courtois is a regular under Antonio Conte, and whilst the Blues managed to hold onto Asmir Begovic in January – the Belgian will likely keep his place.

He has impressed this season.

 CB – Gary Cahill

Gary Cahill has been a stalwart in the Chelsea back line this season, with his impressive performances as Blues captain proving vital for his side.

 CB – David Luiz

David Luiz was incredible against Liverpool in the week, with a delightful first half free kick securing a valuable point for the Blues.

His defensive game has come on leaps and bounds lately.

 CB – Cesar Azpilicueta

Cesar Azpilicueta plays well regardless of position, but Arsenal’s talented attack will pose a real threat for him.

The Spaniard is in a rich vein of form.

 RWB – Victor Moses

Victor Moses has looked good since moving to right wing-back, and now has the position secured with the departure of Branislav Ivanovic.

He’ll definitely start.

 CM – Nemanja Matic

Nemanja Matic looked poor in the week, but you would expect him to keep his place.

Fabregas looked poor in the reverse fixture against Arsenal, and Matic’s defensive solidity will be important.

 CM – N’Golo Kante

N’Golo Kante was, simply put, unstoppable against Liverpool.

He was everywhere, and without him, the result may have been very different.

A repeat performance is needed.

 LWB – Marcos Alonso

Marcos Alonso has looked shaky at points this season, but he has impressed over the last few weeks.

He offers a real balance to this Chelsea team.

 RW – Pedro

Pedro was dropped in the week, but Willian did very little to convince Conte that he should be starting regularly.

His goal threat is so important.

 ST – Diego Costa

Diego Costa had an off night against Liverpool, but he always turns up against Arsenal.

Another goal wouldn’t go amiss – Chelsea need him to perform.

 LW – Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard has been poor for a few weeks, but Conte just cannot afford to drop him.

He can make magic out of nothing, and whilst he has struggled lately – that trait cannot be undervalued.
