The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are expecting a few departures over the coming weeks…

Unsurprisingly, much of the attention of the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern has been on who might join the club this month, especially given how close the Blues are to running away with the Premier League title.

The Blues have impressed, and with Antonio Conte at the helm, anything is possible this weekend.

However, Conte has his own methods – and as a result of that there are a number of players that aren’t being given much of a chance in the Chelsea first team.

Conte uses a pretty small squad made up of just 12 or 13 players most weeks, and so the logical response for some of Chelsea’s fringe players is to seek a move.

With that said, these 3 Chelsea players who’d be best off leaving the club this month – Agreed?

Kenedy

Kenedy looked good during his first season with Chelsea, but after a failed loan spell with Watford – it seems unlikely that he will get much of a chance under Antonio Conte this year.

The Blues have a lot of depth in his position, and given that he was unable to get into the Hornet’s team, that chances of him breaking into Chelsea’s more impressive squad is not very likely.

He is still young, so a loan move could allow him to develop.

Ola Aina

Another young player that should look to leave Chelsea on loan is young Ola Aina, who Antonio Conte seems to rate.

Aina is a young right-back that has looked good when given a chance this season, but the fine performances of Victor Moses mean that he is unlikely to get much of a chance.

With both Cesar Azpilicueta and Branislav Ivanovic waiting in the wings in that role, Aina is likely 4th choice to play – and so he won’t get much football.

A loan move away would be perfect.

Cesc Fabregas

Cesc Fabregas has done very well when picked this year, but his problem is that he is rarely picked.

The Spaniard has impressed with his incredible range of passing and attacking prowess, which is in stark contrast to the more defensively minded Nemanja Matic and N’Golo Kante.

Fabregas is quickly approaching 30-years-old, and he needs to be playing regularly. He should seek a move and find himself regular football elsewhere.
