3 emerging Chelsea attacking talents to get fans excited

The Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are loving life under Antonio Conte…

Chelsea were expected to undergo somewhat of a resurgence this season – but the Blues’ turnaround under Antonio Conte has been nothing short of remarkable.

Despite a 10th place finish last season, the Blues now find themselves at the top of the Premier League – and in truth, no team in the Premier League has looked more dominant in recent weeks.

However, on top of the results, another thing that has really impressed the Chelsea fans in the Tavern about Conte is his insistence on utilising young players. Midfield stars like Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Nathaniel Chalobah have been given their chance under the Italian – and our landlord thinks that a few young Chelsea attackers could be next in line.

With that said, here are 3 emerging Chelsea attacking talents to get fans excited

 Tammy Abraham

What else can be said about Tammy Abraham that hasn’t already been said?

The English forward is currently on loan in the Championship – and he has taken the league by storm.

He has slowed down somewhat as of late, but that is to be expected. At just 19-years-old, he has his best years ahead of him.

A natural finisher – and a guaranteed future Chelsea star.

Lewis Baker

Lewis Baker

Lewis Baker has gone under-the-radar somewhat as of late – but it would be a major mistake to discount the talented Englishman.

A natural number 10, Lewis Baker has come on leaps and bounds at Vitesse this season – and he looks destined to return to Stamford Bridge next season.

An expert with the ball at his feet alongside unstoppable set pieces – Lewis Baker is quickly turning into the player that all Chelsea fans thought Oscar would become.

He needs to make it happen at Chelsea.

Dominic Solanke

Dominic Solanke earned his reputation as a partner to Tammy Abraham in the Chelsea developmental system – and the young forward is every bit as good as his more high-profile teammate.

He has yet to go on loan, but his goalscoring record at youth level is phenomenal.

He is as natural of a finisher as anyone in Europe – and whilst he may not have the technical skill of some other players – his record speaks for itself.

The Englishman is Chelsea’s 3rd choice striker this season – so could get a chance later in the campaign.
