So much about the German’s work at Anfield hints towards a long-term project on Merseyside, which makes the feelings amongst our drinkers even sweeter.

The notion of enjoying his masterful stewardship and charismatic demeanour for years to come is an exciting one, though he clearly needs the players to enjoy it properly.

Ovie Ejaria

Another to have hugely impressed against Leeds United at Anfield, young Ovie Ejara is another who is surely destined to rise to the top under Klopp’s watch.
