The Everton fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are looking forward to this year’s edition of Football Manager 2017.

If you are anything like our landlord here at the Tavern, you will have already a list of players in mind for your potential side on the game.

On that list you’ll probably have  a few cult heroes from Football Managers of the past and present…

But we feel these Everton players will add something and have the potential to improve any team you may start the journey with, whether it be a team in the non-league or lower Football League and even if you want to start out at a giant club and improve your youth system for the future!

With that here at the THREE wonderkids from Everton you must sign on Football Manager 2017…

Tom Davies

The 18-year-old came onto the scene at the Goodison at the end of last season and looked rather impressive when he featured.

Having represented England from U-16 to U-19; he looks set to have a bright international future too.

Being the nephew of former Evertonian Alan Whittle – he has the club in his blood, but we are sure for the right price he’ll be more than happy to move.

Mason Holgate

Everton seem to find some defensive gems from Barnsley, beginning with the arrival of John Stones. Their latest acquisition is Mason Holgate – and he looks a real star.

The 19-year-old has been a regular fixture under Koeman since the start of the season due to injuries to the Dutch managers playing squad.

He has picked up a number of plaudits in the Tavern along the way – and looks set to be a very good player.

With his ability and the fact he will be a player on the brink in the new game, he would be a great loan signing for you if you are thinking of starting in the lower echelons of the Football League.

Kieran Dowell

The 18-year-old found himself playing at the end of last season under Martinez due to injury problems, and didn’t look at all out of place playing with the first team.

Whilst he may be new to the Everton first team, he has a plethora of developmental experiences including a prolonged period with the English youth sides.

At a young age he will have the potential to become great on Football Manager 17, and being English and homegrown – he will be a great asset for the bigger clubs.
