Fueled by Iranian cash, Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern are waiting in anticipation to see who Ronald Koeman dips into the market for this January.
With the Toffee’s already taking one of the Football League’s finest prospects in Ademola Lookman, our landlord feels that there is a goldmine waiting to be found in the Football League and Everton could be the perfect club to unearth that talent.
Koeman and youth is something that goes hand in hand, and any young player knows that they are in good hands when it comes to Koeman’s managing skills.
For this reason, our resident Toffees fans in the Transfer Tavern would not be surprised to see more young talent from the Football League join in this transfer window.
With that said, here are THREE exciting Football League players that Everton should target…
Pontus Jansson

Though not technically a Football League player, our landlord has been impressed by the performances of Jansson whilst he has been on loan at Leeds United from Italian side, Torino.
The Toffees may well have to move fast though as Leeds are closing in on a permanent deal.
Jansson would be an absolute steal for the blue half of Merseyside.
Jack Grealish

A move that our landlord believes could both benefit Grealish and Everton, there is no doubting Grealish’s talent – it is just whether Ronald Koeman wants to take a punt on Grealish’s attitude.
A true footballing maverick who could have a stellar effect in the Premier League, Toffees fans in the Tavern agree that under Koeman, Grealish could become a box office player and a legend among the blue half of Merseyside.
George Cooper
A name that not Toffees fans in the Transfer Tavern recognise, our landlord believes Cooper could well be the long term successor to Ross Barkley if he ever decides to pursuit other opportunities outside of Goodison Park.
The 20-year-old Crewe midfielder has an eye for a pass and is a very creative influence and under Koeman’s tutorship, could well be a game changer in the Premier League.
