The punters at the Football Transfer Tavern are very aware of the reputation that they have for bringing through exciting young players.

In recent years there has been the likes of Ross Barkley, and this season Mason Holgate has already staked a claim for a first team spot.

The punters know that there is likely to be talent pouring out of the academy, but feel that some youngsters from the EFL could do well if they were to get a move to Everton.

Ronald Koeman has assembled a great squad so they may not be able to get into first team plans straight away, but if Everton were to sign these youngsters in January they could eventually become first team regulars for the Toffees.

Jack Grealish

Jack Grealish has had his off field troubles and has had to pay the price for them, but there have been times where the England Under 21 international has shown that he has real talent.

He has scored twice in five appearances for the Under 21’s and if Everton were able to move him away from any bad influences that are around him, he could turn into an exceptional player for them.

Aston Villa have had to discipline him before and could be getting tired of giving him more chances, so if the Toffees were to put in an offer, Villa cold be tempted to sell.

Bright Osayi-Samuel

Blackpool may have struggled in recent years, but they have managed to bring some exciting players through their academy.

Bright Osayi-Samuel is one of those talents and due to the troubles going on with the Seasiders and the Oystons, Everton may be able to get the 18-year-old winger for a very minimal fee. Osayi-Samuel is a very tricky player, but sometimes uses his skill at the wrong moment, if he was able to learn from the likes of Yannick Bolasie on a regular basis then he could become a brilliant player for the Toffees.

Ryan Sessegnon

Ryan Sessegnon is a very exciting prospect that Everton would do well to snap up.

At just 16 years of age, the young left sided defender has already made his league debut for Fulham, which came in a 1-1 draw with Leeds United.

Everton do have a lot of competition in full back spots and so would maybe be better off loaning him back to Fulham for the season, but if they were to sign him it would definitely pay dividends in the long run.
