Our Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern are remaining upbeat about their club at the moment and there are certainly some good signs there.
Whilst the team from Old Trafford has gone through some rather difficult patches there are pointers that things are beginning to look up.
Indeed, the Red Devils are on a fine run of form at the moment and have to be considered title contenders with the squad available to them.
They are still the outside bet, though, and so many feel they may need to start focusing on next year soon.
Plenty of the current squad will want to be there for that for sure, then, but our landlord also thinks some might be better off moving on.
Sometimes the grass is greener on the other side and for these three United players a move away from Old Trafford this month could be best for them…
Daley Blind

Our landlord reckons Blind has actually been given a bit of a raw deal and thinks he deserves more playing time than he’s had recently.
He always puts a good shift in and very rarely makes mistakes so it’s a bit of a mystery as to why Matteo Darmian has played so often at left back this season. Our landlord thinks it’s time for Blind to go, then, as he could be playing regularly somewhere else.
Bastian Schweinsteiger

Another man who could certainly be playing elsewhere is this guy.
The relationship between manager and player seems to have thawed a little in recent times but the ex-German international is still out in the cold more often than not. It’s not really fair on a player of his quality to just leave him out of contention and he himself should want to move in a bid to prolong his playing career.
Marcus Rashford

Whilst our landlord is sure that United shouldn’t let Rashford go permanently, he does think a loan deal away could prove beneficial for all involved.
The young striker has gone into a bit of a lull this season after rocketing to prominence last year and the form of Zlatan Ibrahimovic has not helped matters. He needs minutes to help develop that potential, then, and our landlord reckons there’ll be loads of clubs keen.
