The Football Transfer Tavern is full of Manchester City fans toasting their team’s form since the Premier League season started.
They have won all of their matches, both in the Champions League and Premier League and have played very well to do so.
They have been devastating in attack and have looked strong in defence.
The team has been doing very well as a collective but there are certain members of the team who have been performing especially well.
The Transfer Tavern landlord identifies THREE Manchester City men who have been playing out of their skin.
Do you agree with these picks? Who do you think have been City’s best performers so far this season?
Raheem Sterling

After the criticism that he got following Euro 2016, not many people would have expected Raheem Sterling to have had as good a start to the season as he has.
He won the penalty that got the first goal of the Pep Guardiola era and has been threatening constantly so far this season.
His best game to date came against West Ham, where he scored two goals.
Sergio Aguero

The elbow on Winston Reid aside, Aguero has been a very reliable player for Manchester City, especially in front of goal.
He scored the first goal of the Guardiola era with his penalty against Sunderland, and has been a constant goal threat.
As well as that, his link up play with Sterling, Nolito and the other attackers in the team will be very encouraging for the Manchester City supporters at the Transfer Tavern.
Aleksandar Kolarov

He has competition for the starting spot at left back from Gael Clichy, but he has shown that he can do well at both left back and centre back.
He has adapted well to Guardiola’s inverted full backs tactic, while also showing that he can be solid at centre back.
It may not have been expected by many, but Kolarov could prove to be one of Manchester City’s most important defensive players this season.
