The whole of the Transfer Tavern are waiting for Jose Mourinho’s response to his players’ involvement in even more fixtures with the international break coming around.
The United boss has been very vocal in complaining about the amount of games his side has had to play this season, much to the annoyance of a certain former Man United captain by the name of Roy Keane.
Speaking to ITV and as quoted by The Daily Mail, the Republic of Ireland assistant boss was very critical of Mourinho’s whingeing and our landlord agrees that the Portuguese boss knew exactly what he was getting himself into this year.
It has not all been bad for United this season, though, and our regular Red Devils in the Transfer Tavern saw their side progress to the quarter finals of the Europa League on Thursday giving them a chance to add to their trophy collection for the season.
Indeed, our landlord believes that these strong cup performances can really give United a platform to kick on next season though the summer transfer window will be important to the club.
With that said, our landlord feels that instead of whingeing about the fixture count for his players – Mourinho should use this international break to pinpoint his targets for the summer and has outlined three players that he should be keeping tabs on…
Antoine Griezmann

Possibly the worst kept secret in world football at the moment is that Manchester United are interested in Antoine Griezmann, and our landlord believes that Mourinho will be keeping tabs on both France’s fixtures this international break with Les Bleus travelling to Luxembourg in a World Cup qualifier before they host Spain in a friendly.
The £80 million rated striker has scored 21 goals across 39 appearances in all competitions this season and our resident United fans in the Tavern believe the signing of the Frenchman will all but confirm Premier League glory for their club next season.
Romelu Lukaku

With Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s future uncertain, our landlord believes that Mourinho will move in for Lukaku and will be keeping tabs on the big striker as he faces Greece and Russia during the international period.
Our punters also believe that United may look to use captain, Wayne Rooney as part of the deal to get ahead of the chasing pack in regards to signing the big Belgian and United fans in the Transfer Tavern are excited at the prospect of a Lukaku and Griezmann striker partnership at Old Trafford next season.
Victor Lindelof

Our landlord has no doubt that United are interested in Lindelof and believes Mourinho will be keeping tabs on Sweden’s games against Belarus and Portugal over the international period in order to see more of the versatile defender.
The deal was mentioned in January but never went through, but there is every chance that things could come back into the spotlight surrounding this one ahead of the summer.
