In most peoples eyes Liverpool v West Brom may seem like a guaranteed win for an in-form Liverpool side.
However, this match may surprise a few people.
West Brom fans are dancing around the jukebox in the Transfer Tavern as a recent attacking style of football has started to be shown for a usually defensive Pulis side.
On the other side of the Tavern you have the Liverpool sans singing songs of historic victories and future success that Klopp my bring to Anfield.
Both teams have some players playing in the best form of their careers so far and while it may not be the first match you think of at the beginning of the gameweek, it may be the game you remember when everything is said and done.
Here are THREE players that you need to watch out for in the Liverpool v West Brom match…..
Philippe Coutinho
Coutinho still proves to be one of Liverpool’s key players.
However this season he seems more motivated to perform than ever before.
With 4 goals and 3 assists this season the Brazilian looks sharp and determined to make an impact for the Merseyside club.
Last game against Manchester United truly showed Coutinho’s quality with the ball.
Despite not scoring in that match he was alert at all times trying to score goals and provide opportunities to Firmino, Mané or Sturridge.
In the end it took a wonderful save from De Gea to stop Coutinho scoring a well deserved goal.
Against West Brom, the Liverpool fans hope that he can recreate his recent form and be the main focal point in the team yet again for Liverpool.
Nacer Chadli
Nacer Chadli moving to West Brom seemed like the perfect fit.
Chadli needed West Brom to get first team football and show the Premier League how good he is.
Meanwhile West Brom needed Nacer Chadli as he is an attacking player that was desperately needed from a defensive mid-table team.
Things couldn’t have started better for Chadli this season.
The former Spurs man has racked up 4 goals in 5 games along with providing 2 assists along the way.
His performances have rejuvenated West Brom and their main striker Rondon, who has benefited from having an attacking minded winger.
It’ll be interesting to watch if Chadli can continue his run of form by performing against a tough Liverpool side.
He has already scored against his former club earning West Brom a valuable point and he will be hopefully looking to do the same on Saturday.
Sadio Mané
While Mané may not be the person always on the score sheet, his influence in games for Liverpool have been one of the reasons the Reds have been performing so well, so far this season.
Liverpool’s only loss in the league this season were to Burnley when Mané was injured.
Every other game Mané has been in Liverpool have not lost and it’s easy to see why.
Mané’s added pace to an already energetic Liverpool side makes it difficult for opposition teams to get the ball.
Mané could be the star of the show against West Brom if Pulis’ side decide to let Liverpool keep the ball.
Mané is also one to watch on Saturday because he will be going up against a team that, while they have been more attacking recently, is regarded as a slow building team.
This could turn out to be Mané’s best match so far this season.
