Leeds United have been one of the frontrunners in the Championship all season and their supporters are absolutely delighted with how things are going under Garry Monk on the pitch, aside from THAT loss to Sutton in the FA Cup.
The Whites have been showing some of the best form we’ve seen in years and the feel-good factor seems to really be back at Elland Road, with promotion at the end of the season very much on the cards.
Still, to get back into the top-flight, the fans here in the pub still think they’re a couple of players short of quality and there’s one man in particular they want to see come in.
The man in question? Swansea winger Modou Barrow, who has struggled to get game time in recent weeks at the Liberty Stadium. With a division swap with the Swans possible come the end of the campaign, he’d make an ideal signing with Leeds looking good for promotion.
So with that in mind, here’s 3 reasons why Leeds United should do everything they can to sign the Premier League speedster in the last few days of the window…
Leeds have been missing a real winger on the flank

Stuart Dallas, Kemar Roofe and Pablo Hernandez have all been fantastic for Leeds United this season but you get the impression that they’ve been missing an out-and-out flanker all season.
Step forward Modou Barrow, who has frightening pace in his locker and a real ability to ghost past players with relative ease.
He would give this Leeds United side what they’ve been lacking at times this season and their fans here in the Tavern would be seriously excited to see him join.
He’s given some top sides a really tough time

Whilst he’s not consistently featured for the Swans during his time in South Wales, what we’ve seen from Modou Barrow is the real ability to scare full-backs and opposition defences.
One particular game was the Swansea Arsenal match back in October. Whilst it ended in defeat for then manager Bob Bradley, it was a fantastic afternoon for Barrow, who tormented the Gunners back line all afternoon.
Granit Xhaka was shown a straight red for hacking him down, which, in the end, was the only way to put an end to his scorching display.
He’s likely to be pushed down the pecking order even further at Swansea

With Luciano Narsingh signing for the Swans this January, Modou Barrow’s Swansea future is looking even less assured moving forward, which really paves the way for the Whites to make an ambitious move.
Fans here seem to think this is the best chance in years to get promoted back to the Premier League and Gary Monk really needs to put in the footwork if that is to happen.
This would be a great start.
