Liverpool have already been massively active in the transfer market, completing big money moves for Naby Keita, Fabinho, and also looking likely to add Lyon star Nabil Fekir to their squad before we are even halfway through June.
The Reds came agonisingly close to winning the Champions League last term, eventually losing out to Real Madrid in Kiev as the Spanish club proved a step too far for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
However, the mood among the Liverpool fans here in the Tavern is a good one, and along with our landlord, they’ve been putting their heads together this week to come up with even more players they would like to see their beloved club make moves for.
One such player is former Reds forward and current AC Milan star, Suso, who has had a superb season for the Rossoneri over in Italy.
Valued at £31.5m by Transfermarkt, the Spaniard knocked in six goals and provided ten assists last term to build on an impressive display the season before, and he looks to be developing into the sort of player many thought he would when he first came in at Anfield.
At just 24, Suso has plenty more time to develop further, and a move to the Premier League where he will feel he has unfinished business could well be the ideal scenario for him this summer.
Skillful, good on the ball, and with a keen eye for goal, Suso would surely be a welcomed addition back to the ranks with Liverpool.
