The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are eagerly awaiting the summer transfer window. It’s been an exciting year or so on the transfer front, with the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain impressing since their respective moves to Anfield.

There’s also the prospect of Naby Keita moving to the club, with a deal agreed to bring him to Anfield last summer ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.

In truth, things are looking very exciting for Liverpool, and that’s without considering who else could come in before the start of next season.

Indeed, it appears as though a few more players could yet come to Merseyside this summer, with Napoli midfielder Jorginho reportedly just one target of Jurgen Klopp according to a report in the Mirror earlier this week.

Jorginho, who is rated at £36 million by Transfer Markt, would certainly bring a wealth of quality and experience to Anfield, and if he were to join, it’s fair to say that the Reds would have quite the midfield.

Naby Keita is likely to head straight into the first team when he moves to Liverpool this summer.

The midfielder has emerged as one of Europe’s brightest prospects over the last few years, having been crucial for RB Leipzig during their rise up the German ladder.

Offering brilliant passing, tackling and – as of late – goalscoring, the Guinean is a top talent.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Nobody was sure quite how well he’d adapt to life at Anfield, but it’s fair to say that the Ox has flourished under Jurgen Klopp.

Able to play across the midfield, the former Arsenal player has controlled the midfield whenever he has been selected, and he’s got a very decent chance of becoming a regular ahead of next season.

He needs to work on his end product, and he does occasionally lack concentration, but if he can get rid of the few flaws in his game, he could turn into the complete midfielder.
