Man United fans in the Tavern are relishing the perfect start that Mourinho’s side have made so far this season.
The Special One has always managed to perform as one of the best managers in the world no matter what club he’s been in charge of.
The highly decorated Portuguese gaffer has earned his sides an impressive 25 titles so far in his career as he looks to improve upon this at Old Trafford.
When it comes down to vital and important matches, there isn’t many better than this man. A tactical genius who has all the experience when it comes down to performing, whether it’s the Champions League final or an important game domestically this man will set a team up for success.
Having started the season with confidence and intent it looks as if this United side are on course for a possible title.
However, they face Liverpool at the Theater of Dreams as their next fixture in the schedule. This isn’t going to be easy as the Reds have the players and quality in manager who can hurt United, so they’re going to need to be at their best.
Liverpool come into the game sitting in a measly 7th place but hungry for improvement and are always up for a game against the rivals United, where they’ve enjoyed a lot of success in the recent past.
So, if United are going to want to come out of the game with their unbeaten streak intact and the title dream living on, then Mourinho is going to need to field this side…
GK: David De Gea

Arguably the best keeper in the Premier League.
The forever reliant shot-stopper has been the go to man for Mourinho in his time at Old Trafford, performing to the highest quality week in week out.
No one will be budging this man aside, as he continues to cement his place as United’s number 1.
RB: Antonio Valencia

The Ecuadorian paceman provides a dynamic ability down the right side of defence as his strength and speed make it difficult for players to find a way past, though also offers an exciting route forward.
The experienced Premier League man gets the call for me as he looks to use his experience to keep arguably the most dangerous front 3 in the Premier League quiet.
CB: Eric Bailly

The Ivorian International has settled down well at United, offering a brutal amount of strength and a searing level of pace this is what is required to stop a rapid Liverpool attack.
United are going to need Bailly to be on top of his game as the defence face arguably their hardest opposition yet.
CB: Chris Smalling

Fresh off the back of an international break rest, the England star will be re-energized as he looks to use his experience and stature in the upcoming match.
Offering big game experience and pace and strength, this will be a vital weapon in the quest to claim an important win.
LB: Ashley Young

The former England international is newly deployed at left-back and he’s proved he can perform their in key games in the past. His pace and experience will be vital in facing up against the in-form Mo Salah, who is high in confidence after scoring to send Egypt to the World Cup.
Edging Daley Blind out to offer that extra pace to keep up with the opposition’s speed of play.
CDM: Nemanja Matic

The former Chelsea man will more than likely take up the anchorman role as he looks to offer a diverse service of both defending the backline, while also being the origin of attack as he looks to set balls out into more attacking positions.
The Serbian bruiser has proved himself as one of the best defensive midfielders in the League so fits right in.
CM: Ander Herrera

With both Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini out of the crunch North West derby, the ever-reliable Ander Herrera will have to come in and cover the midfield.
While the Spaniard isn’t as threatening in an attacking sense as the aforementioned duo, his dynamic presence in the middle of the park should keep things ticking over, while preventing Liverpool from launching attacks.
RM: Juan Mata

The Spanish playmaker may be in his later years but he’s still one of the most valuable players to the club as he provides that creative streak that the striking outlets around him need.
With lots of big game knowledge, this man looks set to continue his fine form under Mourinho.
CAM: Henrikh Mhkitaryan

The Armenian international is one of the hottest prospects in the Premier League as he offers United a ruthless point of attacking intent. Indeed, his pace and trickery become trouble for any defence that is tasked with defending him.
Mourinho should have no hesitation in using this man as an outlet for attacking chances to be created.
LM: Anthony Martial

The French international, who may feel hard done by from Mourinho of late, due to the lack of game time, deserves his starting spot for the Red Devils after scoring twice on his debut against the Reds all that time ago.
Although Mourinho hasn’t favored him of late, this man deserves a chance to show his full potential.
ST: Marcus Rashford

With the prolific Lukaku a doubt through injury, Mourinho should choose this young man to start as his consistency of producing goals has seen him gain a regular spot in the England squad.
Providing the pace and goal scoring touch deadly enough to frighten any defence, this man seems as if he will be the likely fit to replace Belgian star Lukaku.
So United fans, is this the tactic and line up needed to bring you the victory?
