Manchester United are in a real rut and their fans here in the Tavern are growing increasingly concerned at their lack of form going forward!

The Red Devils were somehow held to a 0-0 draw against Burnley at Old Trafford this weekend and it further highlighted the troubles Jose Mourinho is having getting results in the league.

They’ve not won a game in the league since 24 September, a 4-1 win over Leicester City. He needs his players to come out fighting pretty soon or his head will be on the line.

And the next chance they have to turn their league form around is on Sunday, against a Swansea City side that haven’t been too convincing either.

So with that in mind, we’re tipping the Red Devils to finally turn their form around against the Swans.

Here’s the United lineup we think will overcome Bradley’s men on Sunday and give the Portuguese some much-needed breathing space…

David De Gea

Inbetween the sticks, United have been sound enough in recent weeks and David De Gea cannot be blamed for this recent slump in form.

Matteo Darmian

With regular full-back Antonio Valencia having undergone surgery, defensive responsibilities on the United right now fall to Matteo Darmian.

He’s not been a favourite of Mourinho’s since his arrival but he has a great chance to prove his credentials in the absence of the Ecuadorian.

Daley Blind

Has somewhat picked himself up after the defeat to Chelsea and looked a lot more solid against Burnley, who were seriously under the cosh throughout.

Will face a tougher task against some of Swansea’s big strikers though, especially in Fernando Llorente.

Marcos Rojo

Another man who is back in the first-team, Marcos Rojo has been drafted in after the humiliation at Stamford Bridge.

The Argentine has plenty of people to convince still at Old Trafford and another good performance against Swansea City would really help his cause.

Luke Shaw

It’s great to see Luke Shaw back in the United first-team and playing well, especially after the injury heartache he suffered last season.

He gives United plenty of pace and width down that left-hand side.

Marouane Fellaini

With Ander Herrera sent off in the game against Burnley, Mourinho will have little choice but to change things up in the middle-of-the-park.

Marouane Fellaini is always a solid option- big, burly and a real battler.

Paul Pogba

Huffed and puffed against Burnley but again, had little to show for his efforts.

His form in a United shirt could and probably should be a lot better but good performances will come. A strong display against a poor Swansea side would give him heaps of confidence going forward.

Ashley Young

Things aren’t going right for United at the moment and a possible solution could be bringing Ashley Young back into the side.

He’s not featured regularly for a while but his credentials are proven. He’s quick, direct and is a good crosser of the ball.

Juan Mata

Still, even with things going against the Red Devils, it’s clear most of their good play goes through Juan Mata.

He plays just ahead of Pogba and Fellaini and has been giving good support to his fellow forwards. The goals will come, especially with the tricky Spaniard in the team.

Marcus Rashford

United prodigy Marcus Rashford is having one of his quieter spells since his meteoric rise into the first team, but that is very much expected.

He’s been superb for long periods of his United career so far and deserves some good form in the near future.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Had 12 attempts against Burnley and still, he couldn’t hit the target. But this is Zlatan Ibrahimovic we’re talking about here, not a man who will rest on his laurels.

If there is anyone that’s going to come back fighting, it will be the charismatic Swede, who definitely has goals in him still.
