The punters at the Football Transfer Tavern have been very impressed with Manchester City so far, but they know that Pep Guardiola won’t be resting on his laurels.

Thorgan Hazard

Thorgan Hazard may not have made it at Chelsea, but he has now moved to Borussia Monchengladbach and has been impressive since moving to Germany.

He could take the same route back into the Premier League elite as Kevin de Bruyne via Manchester and they will be hoping that the results will be similar if he does.

He has shown that he is capable of being devastating in attack, with an example when he scored a hat trick in Monchengladbach’s Champions League qualifying win over Young Boys – and so he should be able to fit in well.

Rafinha

A star from Barcelona’s famous La Masia academy, Pep Guardiola may go back to his old stomping ground to get another exciting talent into Manchester City’s side.

He would be a great asset if he was to join City, especially considering the potential development that he could have.

Even if he wasn’t going to play week in week out, Manchester City need to make sure that they don’t miss out on getting his signature if they get the opportunity.

Hector Bellerin

Hector Bellerin would be a stellar signing for Guardiola.

A full back with Premier League experience? The Spaniard fits the bill exactly.

If they were to sign him they would probably have to sell either Bacary Sagna or Pablo Zabaleta to make space – but the Spaniard’s pace and technical ability would make it worth it and ensure that he is a great addition to the side.

Youri Tielemans is only 19 years old, yet he has already played over 100 times for Anderlecht’s first team and is pushing for a place in the Belgium squad.

It is scary to think about the player that he could become under the tutelage of Pep Guardiola, as long as he is given game time.

The young midfielder is one of the most exciting and talented teenagers in the world and Manchester City need to make sure that they snap him up quickly
