For many years now, Celtic fans have often had many parties in the Transfer Tavern. Indeed, once Rangers were kicked out of the SPL, Celtic were able to dominate this league even more, and for years now they have enjoyed a lot of success in Scotland.
Though Celtic aren’t the force they once were in the Champions League, it is still on the whole a well respected football club.
However, one thing that has been more frequent over the years, is that Celtic have increasingly seen many of their stars move onto the Premier League. Most recently, the likes of Fraser Forster, Virgil Van Djik and Victor Wanyama have all moved to Southampton, though other stars such as Gary Hooper and Joe Ledley have also moved to England’s top flight.
It is a trend that is also more than likely to continue, while Celtic do not have a star studded squad, they do certainly have players who are capabale of mixing it in the top flight, and below we picked five names who we could soon see in England in the near future.

Leigh Griffiths
Griffiths is certainly a name who could attract many clubs seeking a goalscorer. The Scotsmen has some brief experience of the Premier League, having previously been at Wolverhampton Wanderers, though he did not actually make any apperances.
However, he was someone still learning his trade back then, and since then has become far more established. With the goals drying up for Bournemouth and Norwich, Griffiths may attract some of these names.
Emillio Izaguirre
Izaguirre has been on the radar of Premier League clubs before and has previously been linked with Manchester United.
While a move to England’s top clubs is unlikely, Izaguirre could still be a useful acquistion for others. The Honduras left-back is very good going forward, and his dynamic displays could give certain teams a different dimension.
Craig Gordon
Another with Premier League experience, having previously been at Sunderland, where he famously made one of the best ever saves seen in the Premier League. Gordon, however, lost his way a bit and eventually found himself in his home country.
Though he is happy at Celtic, he may simply be reviving his career in the hope for a second crack of the whip in England.
Saidy Janko
The former Manchester United youngster had big expectations at Old Trafford, having previously won the reserve player of the year. However, Louis Van Gaal was ruthless in trimming down his squad, and the Swiss full back was sold to Celtic.
Janko is still young, and may hope to come to England to prove Van Gaal that he was wrong to let him go.
Scott Brown
Brown is the captain of Celtic and is now 30, so any move really would have to happen sooner rather than later.
However, the tough midfielder has attracted Premier League interest in the past, and many clubs may believe he could add some much needed bite to their midfield. With bags of experience, he would definitely not be out of his depth in this division.
