Had the question been asked to Liverpool fans two months ago , as to which five players they would like to see leave in the summer, many would have likely been able to come up with a list that reached double figures.
But the way in which Brendan Rodgers side have turned things around from mid-December onwards has been superb, and those that were heavily criticised during the first part of the season have played a massive part in the revival.
The Reds have lost just once in their past 22 matches in all competitions, and reached a favourable quarter final draw at home to Blackburn in the FA Cup with an impressive win at bogey ground Selhurst Park at the weekend, coming from behind to beat Crystal Palace 2-1.
Whilst things are looking up at the moment, there are still a few that may be fighting for their Anfield future in the summer however. Here we have identified five players we feel the supporters would not be too disappointed to see leave.

Simon Mignolet
The Belgian has looked a different goalkeeper since his spell out of the side, with clean sheets, important saves, and strength from crosses into the box now all a feature of his game.
It is now whether Mignolet can maintain this form until the end of the season, with Liverpool fans still reminded of is woeful form during the first half of the campaign which saw him dropped in favour of Brad Jones.
The injury to the Australian has given Mignolet a second chance, and at the moment he is taking it with both hands. Any further slip ups however, and a new number one will become a priority for Rodgers in the summer.
Rickie Lambert
Liverpool fans are desperate to see the big front man do well, but he has managed just three goals in all competitions for the Reds so far this term.
He was given the choice of joining Aston Villa on deadline day in a deal worth £5million, and Liverpool fans were split as to whether he should have left and the money paid for him in the summer recouped.
It would be ideal if Liverpool could end the season with a trophy with Lambert having had some part to play, before the 33-year-old were allowed to move on to play regularly during the final years of his career.
Mario Balotelli
The Italian has improved in his last two matches, scoring the winning goal against Tottenham and providing the assist for Adam Lallana in the FA Cup win at Palace.
Brendan Rodgers reckons ‘the penny has dropped’ with Balotelli, but Liverpool fans remain split as to whether he should stay beyond the season at Anfield.
A total of three goals in all competitions is not good enough, whilst his performances for the most part have been dreadful.
Like Mignolet, if Balotelli can maintain his recent improvement from now until the end of the season he may have a chance, but reverting back to old ways will see him shown the exit door surely.
Fabio Borini
Liverpool fans have no problem with the desire or the commitment of Fabio Borini – it is simply the fact he does not score enough goals for a striker.
Borini has managed as many goals as he has managed red cards this season – one – and was the subject of interest from both QPR and Sunderland in the summer.
Both were said to have bid £14million for his services, and if an offer of similar value were to come in again at the end of the season, Reds fans would be delighted to see it accepted.
Glen Johnson
The former England right back is out of contract at the end of the season, and has only made two appearances in 2015 – both of which have come in cup competitions.
Johnson does not fit into the Reds new 3-4-2-1 system, and with Jon Flanagan set to come back from injury shortly, and Javier Manquillo another option, Reds fans would have no trouble in seeing him depart at the end of the season – especially when you consider he earns a whopping £110,000 a week at Anfield.
