Chelsea have already begun preparing for the 2014/15 season, with David Luiz set to join Paris Saint-Germain for £40 million.

Despite his popularity at Stamford Bridge, Luiz did not fit into Jose Mourinho’s vision.

The Brazilian was regarded as too much of a loose cannon, with Mourinho re-establishing his vision for a disciplined, hard working and solid team during his first season back at Stamford Bridge.

The 2013/14 season will be considered anything but a success for Mourinho, where despite his constant claims Chelsea were ‘a little horse’, and lacked the resources to win the big prizes, a year without any form of silverware will be painful for the self-proclaimed Special One.

His antics off the pitch were hardly exemplary either, and with it being no secret Roman Abramovich desires a team that plays flowing attacking football whilst winning silverware, Mourinho may find himself under pressure if Chelsea do not get off to a flyer next season.

In order to do that, Mourinho will have to delve into the transfer market once again, with possibly two new strikers, a replacement for David Luiz, a central midfielder and another playmaker all on his wishlist.
