Everton fans here in the Tavern haven’t had an awful amount to shout about in the past few years but with the news of the recent takeover they are now starting to dream of the big time, and who they could be signing!
Toffees supporters have been critical in the past with the amount of money that Bill Kenwright and the board have thrown at signing new players, as they have always resisted the urge to spend against their means, but could that now be set to change?
Recent transfer activity at Goodison Park has usually been which players the club could hold on to, opposed to those coming through the doors, and with their bigger name players moving on in recent seasons the tide now be set to turn the other way.
After any club is taken over the fans are immediately looking at who their club might sign and this time Everton fans will be no different, as they can finally start to dream that they could attract big name players to Goodison Park.

Andriy Yarmolenko
Ukrainian Yarmolenko has been linked before with a move to the Premier League but on the back of their recent takeover, Everton could be set to pounce to bring the 26 year-old to England.
The attacking player has 55 caps for his national team to his name and has spent the last decade with Dynamo Kiev, where he has scored over 100 goals in nearly 300 appearances. W
ith seven major honours to his name with Dynamo, he could fancy a different challenge and Everton will certainly provide him with that.
Kalidou Koulibaly
24 year-old Koulibaly is hardly a name that will be recognised across living rooms in this country but nevertheless he is still in demand- and Everton have been linked with a move following their takeover.
The Senegalese international defender is nearing the end of his second season in Serie A with Napoli, where a string of strong performances have alerted the Toffees.
Not a lot will be known about Koulibaly, who started his career in his birth country France with Metz, and with now nearly 200 senior league appearances under his belt, he could be set for a move to the Premier League.
Alfonso Pedraza
19-year-old Alfonso Pedraza looks to be one for the future rather than an immediate star for the Toffees.
The young Spanish winger only made his senior debut for Villarreal in April of last year ,after featuring for their B and C teams, having spent the previous four years in the academy.
He has only featured three times for the first team but he is extremely highly rated at El Madrigal and should they decide to pounce this summer, Everton could secure his services for around £2 million.
That could prove to be a great investment, if he lives up to his ever-growing reputation.
David Marshall
With Tim Howard seemingly on his way out of Goodison Park, and indeed English football with a return to the MLS looming, the Toffees are going to be looking for some goalkeeping cover.
Marshall may not instantly jump out as a keeper that should be interesting them but he has put in some fantastic displays at Cardiff over the last few seasons and has proven himself to be one of the best keepers outside the Premier League.
He has been with the Bluebirds since 2009 and with 234 appearances for them he has proven to be somewhat of a cult figure there and some of his performances have certainly warranted a place in the Premier League.
Joe Allen
This appears to be a strange one, could a Liverpool player really cross Stanley Park to Goodison Park in this day and age? Especially one that has featured in the first time to the extent that Allen has.
Since his arrival from Swansea for £15 million in 2012, he has never really endeared himself to the Anfield faithful, despite a couple of flurries in form, and with manager Jurgen Klopp surely making big changes in the summer, Allen could be one that finds himself on his way out.
In 113 appearances for the Reds, he has found the net only six times but he has never really been able to nail down a place in the team and now at the age of 25, he should be looking at regular first-team football elsewhere.
