West Ham have been having a magical season in its final season at Upton Park, and the Hammers fans here in the Transfer Tavern are absolutely buzzing to say the least!
Slaven Bilic has got the Hammers into contention for Europe with Dimitri Payet in the running for Premier League Player of the Year.
Starting next campaign, West Ham will be moving to the Olympic Stadium and the move will mean more revenue for the Hammers to spend. Expect big names to come to East London.
The locals at the Tavern are discussing the rumour that Theo Walcott could make the move from Arsenal to West Ham.
This would be some coup for Bilic and co if they would be able to pull this off. However, Walcott isn’t the only big name to be rumoured to come to West Ham.
After some pints, our punters have decided on FIVE players that could follow Theo Walcott to West Ham in the summer…..

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Paris Saint-Germain)

As every football fan knows, Ibra’s contract is up after this season with a host of clubs after his signature.
Even at the age of 34, he has proven to be still extremely productive for PSG scoring 38 goals in all competitions this season. The big Swede has made it known he would like to ply his trade in England with London his preferred location.
Enter West Ham. Along with every other major club in England, West Ham view Zlatan as the perfect man to lead the front line.
Chairman David Sullivan has admitted they want to bring him to the Olympic Stadium with wages being the only stumbling block.
He would be some coup if Ibra does go to West Ham.
Chris Smalling (Manchester United)

Recent rumours have been getting the supporters at the Tavern that Bilic wants to launch a bid for the Manchester United centre back.
He has shown to be the most consistent defender United has and to convince him to head over to the Olympic Stadium would signal intent by the West Ham executives.
Partnering Smalling and either Winston Reid or Angelo Ogbonna would be a fordmiable centre back pairing.
Recently results have shown that West Ham could use a new central defender to help their goals allowed statistic.
This transfer would also help West Ham garner more attention from the England manager, whoever it is, that West Ham is a great place for English talent.
Toni Martinez (Valencia)

To most fans, he is a relative unknown players. To the Tavern locals, they know all about his quality.
He has a high work rate and can be seen running back helping to win the ball countless times.
He has great control and doesn’t let the ball get too far in front of him.
He has an eye for the dangerous pass and isn’t afraid to initiate contact in order to draw fouls. Sounds like a perfect Bilic player.
While West Ham are rumoured to get many high profile players, this player could turn out to be a bargain for the club.
With the price being around £2.4 million, he could turn out to be quite a bargain if he lives up to his fullest potential. Great potential player for the Hammers.
Yaya Toure (Manchester City)

Yaya Toure has been unhappy at City for the past couple seasons, and with Guardiola coming into the club, Toure is looking to leave.
He wouldn’t have to leave the country if these rumours are correct.
Bilic has announced that Alex Song will not be returning next season, leaving a void in the heart of the midfield. Toure could certainly fit the bill.
Wages would be another potential stumbling block for the club.
However, David Sullivan isn’t afraid to go after the big names in order for the Hammers to compete.
Whether the potential lack of Champions League football would be a factor for Yaya, but he could be a great buy for the club.
Michy Batshuayi (Marseille)

A young talent with a bright future, West Ham would be wise to make a move for the Belgian international.
Batshuayi has scored 19 goals in all competitions for Marseille and with him being only 22, the sky is the limit for this player. He offers pace and composure with the ball as he attacks towards goal.
Consistency up top have been a bit of a struggle for the club this season.
A lot of injuries have occurred this season that have hindered progress for the club. However, an injection of youth like Batshuayi have the supporters at the Tavern excited about the potential he brings. He would be a classy signing.
