His charming charisma is sure to make him a firm-favourite at Anfield and his success at Borussia Dortmund suggests the German international can bring back the pride at Liverpool; restoring the Merseyside outfit back to the top of English football.
Whilst his success and impact is not guaranteed, there’s a big chance that he will succeed at Anfield- and a lot of our regulars believe the German will become a messiah in the North West of England.

Style of play
Jurgen Klopp’s teams have always played a thrilling style of football, which delicately balances defence and attack to ensure the side is competitive at both ends of the field.
With full-backs that bomb up the field and midfielders who will dictate the pace of the game, the Klopp style of play is renowned for being effective and beautiful to watch. He gets his tactics spot on and can overcome the very best.
Success
Playing a nice style of football is one thing but the crucial aspect is results- and Klopp is a mastermind and overcoming the fierce opposition and enjoying success. After all, he managed to break Bayern Munich’s German dominance.
It won’t mean trophies straight away but Klopp’s impact should lead to an increase in performance, better results and, ultimately, glory at the end. Give it time and Klopp will reap the rewards.
Nice guy
Let’s face it and be brutally honest; no one likes Jose Mourinho. He whines, he complains, he’s arrogant and he’s a sore loser. Nowhere near the type of person you want to listen to and read about in football.
Jurgen Klopp, on the other hand, is completely different. He’s not ‘the normal one’ as he claims, because he’s completely bonkers (in a good way), but he adores football, respects the opposition and is an all around nice guy.
He’ll get on with the fans, the media, the staff and the players- which is a recipe for success.
Transfers
Brendan Rodgers transfer policy was flawed. He brought the wrong players for audacious prices. It’s a simple fact.
Klopp, on the other hand, will find diamonds in the dust. Mats Hummels, who was a Bayern Munich youth product, had barely scratched the surface of his talent before Klopp came along. Lukasz Piszczek arrived on a free, Robert Lewandowski cost just over £4m, Marco Reus was around £15m and Gundogan was just shy of five.
They are all extremely successful and reasonably priced arrivals, that all became stars in the first-team; only one of those has moved on since and look at what he’s doing these days.

Ok, we’ll admit the name sounds like some sort of Transformer hybrid but the Footbonaut is one of the coolest and most effective modern training methods (YouTube it!)
Klopp’s Dortmund were one of the first clubs to utilise this training method and it’s gone from strength-to-strength since. He didn’t create it but the fact he took it on so early shows he isn’t stuck in the past and is open to anything that can improve his team.
