Talk in The Transfer Tavern this evening has turned to who is going to be the next man in charge at Goodison Park.
Everton have been on the hunt for a new manager since the club decided to part company with Roberto Martinez following what was a horrendous run of results.
Many names have been linked with the vacant position at the club with the likes of Sevilla coach Unai Emery and former Ajax boss Frank De Boer amongst the potential managers.
The clear favourite with the boardroom at Everton is current Southampton manager Ronald Koeman, who has carved a reputation of utilising an attractive brand of football while on the South Coast.
With the former Barcelona icon widely expected to takeover imminently, the squad that served Roberto Martinez so poorly could be ripped apart.
New investor Farhad Moshiri is understood to be prepared to give the former Valencia coach a hefty war chest in order to fund a spending spree.
Considering that, here’s who he could prize to Merseyside with him.

Sadio Mane

The tricky forward could definitely be one who could follow Koeman to Goodison Park should he depart St Mary’s this summer.
The Senegalese forward was in inspired form for Southampton last season scoring 15 goals in 37 appearances for the club and his lethal forward play could reignite the front line.
He has been linked with numerous moves away from the club in the last year but should the manager depart do not be surprised to see the 24-year old follow.
Victor Wanyama

The Kenyan defensive midfielder has just a year to go on his deal on the South Coast, meaning this summer represents a pivotal one in his career.
Simply put, the former Celtic star either pens a new contract or he move clubs.
He adds that steel in front of the back for which Everton have been severely lacking for the last season especially when Gareth Barry has been unavailable, so Goodison Park would clearly be a natural fit for the bruiser.
Wanyama is another who seems to be a wanted man every summer and with the riches on offer at Goodison Park he could be tempted to follow Koeman should he depart.
Fraser Forster

The Toffees are in desperate need of a safe pair of hands between the posts, Forster would definitely tick all the boxes.
A commanding presence in the box he will give added security to the back four that they have a talented individual as the last line of defence.
With Tim Howard leaving this summer and Joel Robles anything but consistent between the posts don’t be surprised to see the England international arrive at Goodison Park should Koeman make the move.
Graziano Pelle

The tall and physical Italian striker could be another who makes the move should Koeman depart this summer.
The club look set to be in the market for a new front man this summer with Romelu Lukaku looking increasingly likely to depart Goodison Park this summer.
The towering striker has become a fan favourite at St Mary’s in his two years at the club and he has scored 30 goals in 81 appearances, emerging as one of the most lethal in the top flight.
Virgil Van Dijk

The former Celtic defender has certainly been a major player in Southampton’s defence since arriving at the club from the Scottish champions next season.
With Everton’s defence at its leakiest for many years he could be just the signing needed to shore up the defence and would be an ideal partner for John Stones at the heart of the Merseyside club’s defence next season.
During his first season at Southampton he made 37 appearances and chipped in with three goals and could definitely be another to follow Koeman should he leave Southampton.
