Our Everton fans here in the Transfer Tavern are feeling excited at the moment as their club’s transfer plans for the summer begin to take shape.
The men from Goodison Park have seen themselves become the prime candidates to break into the top six in the Premier League and now they will be looking to prepare a team ready to do just that this summer.
Ronald Koeman, then, has plenty of work to do over the next couple of months and it looks as though he is close to completing his latest piece of business with Everton agreeing a fee with Sunderland for goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
Fans, then, have certainly reacted to this news and so, with that in mind, here is the best of what has been said on Twitter:

Right everyone it looks like Pickford is coming if he makes a mistake here and there let’s not abuse him he’s still young #EFC

£30 million for Jordan Pickford is a bargain when you consider he’ll be #EFC‘s goalkeeper for more than a decade.

30 mil is too much but pickford are way better than robles and stekelenburg, good business then #EFC

30m is nuts for Pickford but we need a GK badly. Sigurdson, Klaasen and Sandro would be decent additions also #EFC

Jordan Pickford is the keeper that takes you to Chelsea, we score in the first minute and he makes 35 saves and keeps a clean sheet. #EFC
