Chelsea are in a desperate state of despair as their top four hopes took a battering as the lost 6-0 to Manchester City.
Maurizio Sarri is under real pressure to turn things around but it’s safe to say that Stamford Bridge is not a happy place right now.
For all the talk about the Italian manager at the start of the season revitalising the club, Chelsea have now fallen to sixth position and face a real battle to re-claim their spot in the top four.
Whether they have what it takes to achieve a Champions League spot or not, Chelsea have to spend during the summer transfer window in order to strengthen their credentials next season.
A position that could well be improved among many is the right-back role, a place that Aaron Wan-Bissaka would do very well in filling.
The Crystal Palace talent, (who is valued at £9 million on Transfermarkt) has been extremely impressive once again this season and would make a fine addition for any of the top Premier League sides.
Chelsea have been reliant on Cesar Azpilicueta at right-back this season when it could be argued that he would pose a far better option at centre-back instead.
Therefore, a space is ready for Aaron Wan-Bissaka to come into and should he continue progressing into the fine footballer he is becoming, he could up his game further and strive to be a star player for Chelsea.
With 28 games already under his belt this season, the attacking full-back has contributed two assists whilst being a big hand defensively – with 11 clean-sheets to his name.
Chelsea know they’re lacking in English talent and so Aaron Wan-Bissaka could be the perfect addition at Stamford Bridge.
