Re Julian Quinones transfer talk. Are you dense? You might want to brush up on the visa process for the UK. No way does he fit the requirement. Slack poor journalism!
Great

The first thing to do is to get your information up to date!
This news of Flamengo wanting Gomes to go to Lyon is over 7 days old!!!
The latest news, for your information, is that Flamengo want the situation cleared up by Saturday, 28th January.
Gomes insists he will NOT be joining Lyon and this assumes Flamengo will have little choice to accept Wolves offer and let the player go.
If Flamengo insists that Gomes will not leave for Wolverhampton and continue to insist he leaves for Lyon then Gomes will probably not leave and also not play for Flamengo either and any such monies on the table will be ‘lost’ and the player in limbo.
Not an ideal situation for player or club!
Accepting Wolves offer then, as Flamengo should have done in the first place and not not reneged upon a deal which had been agreed, would bring the standoff to a conclusion.
Flamengo would receive 17m Euros and Gomes would get his wish to join a PL club as he promised he would.
What will happen in the next 72 hours should decide the issue.
