Estêvão Could Look to Leave Chelsea
Estêvão could reportedly consider leaving Chelsea in January amid concerns over his opportunities under Xabi Alonso.
According to ESPN, the Brazilian has privately expressed worries that he may struggle for regular minutes after making just a handful of appearances at the start of the season.
Estêvão came off the bench against Fulham before starting in the League Cup, but remained an unused substitute in Chelsea’s victory over Brighton.
The 18-year-old prefers operating centrally, where he faces competition from Palmer and Rogers, while a move to the right wing would mean battling with Pedro Neto.
Estêvão – previously described as “magic” by Brazil boss Carlo Ancelotti – has reportedly made it clear that he enjoys life at Chelsea and wants to stay, but could reconsider that stance in January if his situation fails to improve.
