Ajax’s Luis Suarez could leave. But only when a ‘super club’ with ‘absurd amount’ of money will make Ajax think about selling. Frank de Boer said this during the press conference ahead of the home match against Feyenoord.
Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have shown interest in Suarez and De Boer admits that the rumors exist, “If Suarez plays, something happens. This was also in the practice matches. It is important to us,” said De Boer.
“We are resolute and willing Suarez is not lost. But if a ‘super club, an absurd fee, then we must let him go. As it looks now remains Suarez until the end of the season, certainly to us,” said the trainer .
“Suarez would like to continue as ‘super club’ is not coming. He trains very well and feels good. So far I have not worry about it. What I talk with Suarez, remains with us.”
What fee would trigger Ajax to sell even in the winter, De Boer would not say but Manchester City had to pay more than thirty million euros for their striker, De Boer added that “This amount for any Dutch club would be very welcome.”
