Liverpool edged out Norwich is a closely fought 1-0 victory, but once again they had to rely on Alisson to get them out of trouble with a great performance.
While the 27-year-old was mostly untroubled at Carrow Road, he was forced into action in the first-half when Lukas Rupp broke through the Reds’ backline, yet even with teammate Teemu Pukki alongside him, Norwich were unable to find a way past Alisson. The Liverpool ‘keeper showed brilliant anticipation to intercept the eventual pass, clawing the ball away from danger to ensure his clean sheet stayed intact.
He now has ten clean sheets from his last 11 Premier League games, with a single goal conceded against Wolves since the beginning of December. That is some record, and shows just how good he and his defensive teammates are, and supporters are rightly sending plaudits in Alisson’s direction.

He has been a superb addition with 28 goals conceded in 56 league games for the Anfield outfit, and one of the many reasons why they already have a hand on the Premier League trophy.
