‘All set for next season’ - Plenty of Chelsea fans are loving latest transfer reports

It’s been a slow summer so far for Chelsea. The Blues are yet to make a single transfer move, and that has naturally led to a lot of frustration amongst fans of the club.

However, that could be about to change, at least according to Nizaar Kinsella and Romeo Agresti, who are reporters for Goal. They’re reporting that Russian star Aleksandr Golovin could be on his way to Stamford Bridge – after the Blues gazumped Juventus, who looked likely to seal a deal previously.

The Blues have clearly impressed by Golovin’s form both leading into and during the World Cup. He’s been a key player for the Russian national team, having picked up 2 goals and 2 assists for his country.

A central midfielder by trade, he’s offensive and creative, and he’d add some much-needed class to a Chelsea midfield that lacked quality last season.
